Our Reference Sire Whitetail Breeder Buck: RDM Goliath
RDM Wildbunch Whitetails is all about RDM Goliath. He is our reference sire with all of our breeder bucks being sons of his or out of his daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters. Officially scored by both a B & C panel at 410 6/8 and an SCI panel at 429 6/8, he is one of the highest scoring whitetails ever. Theses scores were at 6 when he had 78 points with 68 of them being scorable.
He was the largest yearling of his time and also the largest 2 year old in 1999. It has taken a half dozen years before any yearlings or 2 year olds have come close to him in score. At 6, he had 78 points with 68 of them being scorable. It took 2 official Boone and Crockett scorers 3 days to score his rack and they wouldn't give him credit for over 18 inches that he had broken off that we were able to find.
Goliath gained national attention in 1999 when he was stolen from our farm. Because he was an animal and so a human interest story, the national media picked up the story and sent it all over the country. When he was discovered and returned in 2003, he again gained national attention not only because he was found but because he had such a large reack and huge body, weighing over 400 pounds.
Even with RDM Goliath’s huge nontypical frame, he doesn’t pass on much of the nontypical look. The genetics he passes on are for big wide open frames, long tines and beams with mass. Look at the bucks to the right with their frames, all coming from RDM Goliath as their base. And these are the kind of animals the industry is looking for. Remember that the end product of the deer farmer is the hunting ranch for the most part. And hunters still want a deer that looks like a deer, not a high scoring rack that is just a mess. But nontypical points are a bonus if the deer still has a frame.
We are also stocking our hunting ranch with grandsons and greatgrandsons of RDM Goliath. We can provide the successful hunter with a certificate showing the relationship to RDM Goliath.

Purchase Semen From RDM Goliath's Grandsons and Great-grandsons.
We have semen available from many grandsons and great-grandsons. Goliath sons are big framy pretty typical racks. He is siring what the industry is looking for. But his daughters are doing an even better job with their sons. They are big frames, long tines and beam length, wide open inside, and have good mass. We have semen available from all the bucks pictured to the right and many more. What we have noticed with RDM bucks is that they continue to grow larger each year. They are not like some in the industry that their highest scores are at 2 or 3 and then you don’t here from them again because they have maxed out. RDM 44-Mag was 290 last year at 6 and scores an estimated 320 this year at 7.
